Description

Nerudova street at Lesser Side is one of the most pitoresque streets in Prague. It goes from Malostranské Square up to Prague Castle and is turistically very frequently visited. It used to be a part of the Royal Journey throuch which crowning procession went from Charles Bridge to Prague Castle. The houses are almost all labeled above the entrance with frescoes representing their special names, such as House at Two Suns, where famous writer Neruda, after whom the street got its name, had been born and worked.
