At Kampa, by Charles Bridge is a monument dedicated to John Lennon, a frontman of legendary The Beatles. Today the wall is a frequented Prague place. After John Lennon's death, people started spontaneouslly creating this somehow fictional grave of this famous musician. There appeared text and symbols connected to the singer and crowds were visiting this place of musical pilgrimage. However, the then political regime did not approve of texts crying for freedom and had the wall whiten, but the texts reappeared and hence it serves as a memory of several important periods of Czech history
